How air pollution affects fertility

Dec 8, 2022

Multiple studies that covered more than 20,000 women & couples who lived in moderately polluted environments showed that there was greater risk for not becoming pregnant or infertility. Why does this happen? Pollution damages egg and sperm production, & can lower AMH in women. But pollution is common in most Indian cities. We can’t realistically avoid it. So if you are trying to conceive here are 3 things you can do:

  1. Buy a home air purifier with a HEPA filter. HEPA filters can remove very small sized airborne particles of dust, smoke, or pollen.
  2. Do Steam inhalation 2-3 times a week. Steaming will relax your air-passages and help your body remove the harmful particulate substances.
  3. Grow these 3 miracle plants at home which specifically cleanse the air you breathe of formaldehyde, carbon monoxide, & benzene : aloe vera, golden pothos – a kind of money plant – & Warneck Dracaena.
